I have been actively involved in athletics since youth. In 2000 I attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa on an athletic scholarship for soccer. Once I graduated from college, I moved to Arizona and turned my interest from soccer to running. I have been helping out and coaching with 1st Marathon since 2005. My first marathon that I did was P.F Changs two years ago. Since then, I have started to train for triathlons and just finished my first one in May.
